These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of aggrieve.top and its Services. By accessing or using the Services, you ("user") agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. Minors (16-18) require parental/guardian consent.
You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter these Terms (or have parental/guardian consent if applicable).
We reserve the right to verify age and terminate accounts violating eligibility requirements.
2. Account Registration & Usage
Create an account to access core features (saved story progress, premium chapters). Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Maintain confidentiality of account credentials (username, password) and take responsibility for all activities under your account.
Account sharing, selling, or transferring to third parties is prohibited. Suspend or terminate accounts for unauthorized access or sharing.
Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Game Rules & Conduct
Prohibited conduct includes: using cheats, hacks, or exploits (unlocked story paths, skipped tension sequences); modifying game files; harassing or discriminating against users/moderators; posting inappropriate content; infringing on third-party intellectual property.
The game contains mature themes (psychological tension, mild horror imagery) – users under 16 are strictly prohibited.
4. In-Game Purchases & Virtual Items
Virtual items (story expansions, bonus chapters, artbooks) are licensed, not sold. No ownership rights; items are non-transferable.
All purchases are final. Refunds are granted only for technical errors (duplicate charges, undelivered content) reported within 7 days.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, availability, or functionality of virtual items without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All Service content (game code, graphics, horror narratives, atmospheric designs, trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of Service content without prior written permission.
You retain ownership of user-generated content (e.g., fan theories, forum posts) but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote it.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind (express or implied).
We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (emotional distress, loss of story progress, device damage) even if notified of such possibility.
Total liability to you shall not exceed $80, regardless of legal theory (contract, tort, etc.).
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for violating these Terms, prohibited conduct, or other reasons in our sole discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, and we may delete your account and associated data (subject to data retention laws).

8. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
Disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through arbitration in Asheville, NC, per American Arbitration Association rules.
